Elderhaus has been providing services for adults with special needs for over 36 years.  Participant challenges include dementias (including a specialized frontotemporal dementia program), traumatic brain injury, Down syndrome, PTSD, and many others.

Most of us don’t think about the importance of adult day services until we are personally trying to balance work, respite time, and caring for an adult that cannot care for themselves.  Respite for caregivers is so important: 63% of caregivers will die before the one they are caring for.  Stress is a huge factor.  Elderhaus reduces that stress by providing a loving, safe, therapeutic and engaging environment for the days when caregivers need assistance.
