Caregivers

Elderhaus was born in 1980 out of concern for caregivers and their need for respite. That compassionate concern continues, not only for the families of Elderhaus participants but also for caregivers throughout the larger Northern Colorado community.

Elderhaus currently offers two in-person caregiver support group each week at Elderhaus:

 1. In partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association, Our Thursday Group focuses on caregiving for someone living with dementia- Thursdays, 10:00 to 11:15am

2. COMING SOON! In partnership with the Larimer County Office on Aging, our Tuesday Group is for those caring for an adult living with a disability or chronic health condition.

2nd & 4th Tuesdays. 10-11 am

 All caregivers are welcome to participate. We are happy to have your loved one join our program during the meeting (no charge).
