Get Involved  |  Giving

Elderhaus relies heavily on community support to fulfill its mission.  Your support can be given in many different ways and will make a huge difference in hundreds of lives.

If you would like to make a donation online, please click below to send a donation conveniently and securely via credit card or PayPal.

• Elderhaus is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and you may be eligible to receive a tax deduction for your contribution.

• For more information about Elderhaus and how donor contributions enable us to serve our clients, please contact us or review our IRS 990 filing.

This donation can’t begin to repay you and your staff for everything you do for the elderly in this community. You are all 100% professional and well trained to deal with the things the rest of us have no expertise in. You will never know what it has meant to our family to have Dad in your care for three days a week. They are always his best days. And the relief it has given Mom is just what she needs.

ReFUND COlorado

Through the new Donate to a Colorado Nonprofit program, taxpayers can choose to support any eligible Colorado-registered charity with a simple designation on their state income tax return. Previously, taxpayers could choose only from one of 18 causes approved by the Colorado Legislature.

If you are due a Colorado income tax refund, taking action is simple:
• Decide how much of your state income tax refund to donate (all or a portion of it).
• Enter "Elderhaus" and our registration number 20063002160 in the Donate to a Colorado Nonprofit Fund line on your state tax return or tax software – or give this info to your tax preparer when you share your tax documents.

The Donate to a Colorado Nonprofit program, which takes effect starting this tax season, is being promoted through an educational campaign called ReFUND CO. More information is available at

In 2018, Colorado returned more than $1 billion in state income tax refunds averaging $563 apiece to over 1.9 million individual taxpayers, according to the most recent data available from the Colorado Department of Revenue. If taxpayers choose to donate just a portion of their refunds this tax season, the surge of support will give much-needed funding to community nonprofits like ours across Colorado.

Mission Sponsor

Mission Sponsors of Elderhaus contribute $5,000 or more in a 12-month period. Mission Sponsors are prominently acknowledged by name, including logo and active link, on the Elderhaus website year-round, and included on all major publications and promotional materials, including newsletters. Because we are a nonprofit organization, our sponsors are instrumental in making possible our service to adults with a range of special needs along with the caregivers who count on the respite we provide.  For more information about becoming an Elderhaus Mission Sponsor, please contact Dr. Tim McLemore, Executive Director, at 970.221.0406 or  tim@elderhaus org.
